What is a Compelling Presence?
We believe followers of Jesus have something incredible to share! Jesus says His followers should be "the salt of the earth," "the light of the world," and "a city on a hill" (Matthew 5:13-15). He says we should let our lives "shine before others" so that they, too, would glorify God (Matthew 5:16). As a church made up of many individual believers, we want to do just that! We want to be compelling Christians who shine the light of Christ by loving God and loving others. By doing so, we believe New Community Church will become a compelling presence in our community.
How do we become a compelling presence?
WONDER
We create our weekend services to point to the wonder of God. When we meet, it is for people to encounter God and be transformed by Him.ﾠ Relevant preaching, authentic worship and warm community are all components of this welcoming environment.

DISCUSS
We believe people grow through open conversation about the Bible and spiritual matters. Throughout the week, our people engage in various small group settings called Groups to discuss.

ACT
We believe in putting God’s word into action. We strive to be a church body that is more than just talk.ﾠ Our actions are conveyed through generosity, service projects and acts of love to those in need called Five.16 events.ﾠ These actions are to be lived out on both individual and corporate levels.
